Pick your beans and we roast them for you. Choose from our green (unroasted) beans, mix them until you reach 100%, pick a roast level and bag size, and place your order. We roast your blend fresh, just for you.
What are green beans?
Green beans are raw, unroasted coffee beans. Roasting is what turns them brown and brings out the flavor, so the roast level you choose changes how your blend tastes.
Can I mix different beans?
Yes. Mix up to four beans in steps of 10%, until the total reaches 100%. Try one bean on its own, or a blend of several.
Why do custom blends start at 500g?
Roasting very small custom batches is less energy-efficient. To make better use of each roast, DHATS is gradually moving away from smaller custom orders. Our custom blends now start at 500g, with 500g and 1kg bags available.
Which roast levels and bag sizes can I choose?
Light, medium or dark roast, in 500g or 1kg bags. Light keeps more brightness and fruit, and dark brings more body and a bolder, deeper taste.
What is the blend profile it shows me?
It is a guide to how your blend should taste, built from the tasting notes of the beans you picked. Roast level shifts it a little, and you can edit the note and give your blend a name.
How long until my coffee arrives?
Every blend is roasted to order, so it takes a little longer than a ready-made bag. We roast and ship within [3-4] working days. Free shipping on coffee orders over $80.
Do you sell it as whole beans or ground?
Your blend is sent as whole beans, which keeps it freshest. Need it ground for a specific brewer? Tell us in the order notes.
Can I order the same blend again?
Yes. Your recipe is saved on your order, so you can reorder it or ask us to roast the same one again.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Message us as soon as you can. Once your blend has been roasted we are not able to change it, because it is made just for you.
